The Bus Stop
2 people are waiting for the bus. Their names are Noel and Michel.
“Do you know what time the bus will come at?” asked Noel.
“45 more minutes,” answered Michel.
“Wow, why will it take so long?” questioned Noel
“Someone flipped the bus over by accident,” replied Michel.
“How in the world does that happen?”
“I’m not sure but, if you go a couple blocks up you can catch a different bus.”
“Oh ok thanks!”
As Noel was walking towards the next stop his bus drove by with Michel on it. Michel waved. The next day someone woke Noel up.
“Nick! Nick!” called someone.
“Who’s Nick?” asked Noel.
“You are. Are you ready for breakfast?” said the person.
“Wait, what do you mean? Who are you? My name is Noel,” said the worried Noel.
“Oh boy, Nurse he has had the bus stop dream again,” said the man to someone else.
“What do you mean dream and what do you mean again?”
“Well, your name is Nick Orlando and for the last 6 months you’ve been here at the Foggy Banks Institution. You’ve been having this bus stop dream periodically every time you’ve shown signs of improvement. Then, we go through this same exact conversation,” explained the doctor.
“6 months! Why is this happening to me doctor?”
“From what we can tell it has something to do with two people, named Noel and Michel, at a bus stop.”
“I see. Well do I have a wife or any family?”
“Yes, you have a wife named Ellen. I’ve kept her updated on your condition. Now I’ve got to go so I’ll be back later tonight.”
“Before you leave doctor could you tell me your name?”
“Certainly, it’s Mitchell.”
Later that day Nick starts thinking out loud.
“Hmmm, so the two people are Noel and Michel. My wife’s name is Ellen and my name is Nick Orlando. Now let’s think about this. My initials are NO. Wait a second! If I combine my initials with the first 2 letters of my wife’s name I get Noel. And Mitchell without the t, e, and both l’s gives me Mich, so if I add the first 2 letters from my wife’s name to that I get Michel! Now I remember! Noel symbolizes my relationship with my wife and Michel must mean that she’s cheating on me with my doctor. That’s why…..”
Suddenly, Nick passes out. That night Nick has a dream.
“Nick! Nick!” called someone.
“Who’s Nick?” asked Noel.

In the office of Doctor Mitchell.
“One of these days he won’t forget Ellen,” said Doctor Mitchell
“For now this will have to do,” replied Ellen.
